Recently, Conduition's open-source research has turned towards post-quantum cryptographic systems and how they can be optimized for use on Bitcoin.

Jonas is the Director of Research at Blockstream. He has made foundational contributions to Bitcoin through co-authoring various Bitcoin Improvement Proposals, including the Taproot upgrade, and is a core contributor to libsecp256k1, the cryptographic library used in Bitcoin Core.

Recently, Jonas has focused on securing Bitcoin against future quantum computing threats. In late 2025, he co-authored the comprehensive paper "Hash-based Signature Schemes for Bitcoin", which laid the groundwork for his co-development of SHRINCS—an optimized hash-based post-quantum signature scheme. This work led to the first production deployment of post-quantum signature verification on the Liquid Network using Simplicity smart contracts in early 2026.

Satsie is an open source developer and educator with contributions to various projects in the bitcoin space. She currently leads up the Bitcoin Dev Project (bitcoindevs.xyz), an initiative creating tools and education for bitcoin devs. She is also on the board of directors for the Payjoin Foundation.

Prior to working in open source she was the lead backend engineer at Casa where she built software to make multisig safe and easy. I started with Bitcoin in 2012. At first, I was just interested in the fact that it was easily accessible and could be transferred anywhere without any verification. This is what made me stick with it. I quickly delved deeper into Bitcoin, purchasing my first miner and experimenting with it. I wrote some basic scripts to make use of my miner. Initially, Bitcoin was not what it is for me today. It started as an online currency that was nice to have and turned into something that is necessary for me today. After finishing my Business Computer Science degree in 2022, I wrote more and more code, and eventually discovered the Bitaxe project, which hooked me. I instantly understood why open source is so important, and why Bitcoin is so far removed from open source these days. I became a contributor and then a maintainer, and now I am the lead software developer of this project. I am driving forward innovation and updates for anyone interested in using open-source mining equipment.

Early bitcoin advocate and media figure. Kolin is best known for his part in a two-week, two-man protest outside the MtGox bitcoin exchange in Tokyo in 2014, leading up to its collapse. The protest became a defining moment in early bitcoin history, bringing the first major wave of mainstream media attention to the space and focusing intense global scrutiny on MtGox.
