Tim Savage is the Chief Executive Officer at Ion Strategies, directing the vision of the firm and leading investment strategy, methodology, and execution. Deeply connected in the digital assets industry, he has over 10 years of market experience with a focus on Bitcoin. He is an industry thought leader and has spoken at the largest Bitcoin conferences in the world. He also resides on the Board of Directors at the Texas Blockchain Council, advocating for balanced public policy.
Prior to founding Ion, Tim practiced as a CPA for 14 years. He was an accomplished Tax Partner at Weaver and was highly successful in building the firm’s blockchain and digital assets practice, advising digital asset investment funds, financial services companies, and bitcoin miners. Earlier in his career, he spent 3 years at Ernst & Young, working with global financial enterprises and ranked as an elite Senior at the firm.
